Maybe it all comes down to the ego and the heart. The ego takes, wants, needs. The heart gives, loves, helps. Give and take, reciprocity, balance, homeostasis, justice, equality, fairness, these are dualities that we traverse throughout our lives.
If you imagine that the outside is a reflection of the inside, i.e. as above, so below, we can see this duality running through the course of the history of humanity.
The neo-liberal, globalist, eugenicist/nazi agenda has had the upperhand operating surrepticiously or openly manipulating, undermining, and dominating by way of governments and capitalism/money throughout history; the ego.
The resistance, the diggers, the anarchists, the wobblies, the suffragettes, the anti-slavery movement, JFK, FDR, the presidents who were assassinated or died mysteriously in office, and all those who have tried to benefit the whole, to uplift all boats like the rising tide, have been resisting for centuries but never achieving success; the heart.
Two battles, inside, the heart vs. the ego, outside, the same. Often called good vs. evil.
The heart must win, the way of the ego leads to ruin as exemplified by all the challenges that now face all of humanity.
Maybe it comes down to knowing who we are. The current paradigm has us identifying as individuals. But is that not like a leaf on a tree imagining that it is only a single leaf and not recognizing that it is part of a tree?
Beautifully written ... I would like to add that people need to be oppressed before they rise., their autonomous thinking to be put to sleep before they wake up... at the end of the day, we may thank the fearful as I strongly believe the heart awakening will be unstoppable.
The sad reality is that we are the last generation to have tasted a real normal human life. Children born from about 10 yrs ago and onwards will see a tech world as normal. They will be clueless to understand how sheer happiness can come from frolicking in the fields and farms and enjoying fresh fruits off naturally growing trees, seeing chickens running around, drinking crystal clear fresh water from lake, watching the sunset and telling stories over a bonfire, being respectful of their loving parents and growing up with self responsibility, developing strong natural immunity from exposure to the elements and environment, lots of playful physical activity and growing strong bodies.
Instead we will have soggy brains with very little capacity for rational thinking and executions, weak, defenseless bodies unable to ward off even a common cold and reliance on multiple pharmaceuticals, total reliance on technology from waking up to going to bed and even for sleep.
