Will Humanity Finally End Monsanto's Licence to Kill?
The E.U. is deciding on another ten years of killing the planet - or maybe not this time?
What’s the use of the great energy transition and ‘fighting climate change’ when you kill Earth with a pesticide called round-up at the back end?
Welcome to humanity.
Or.
What’s the difference between glysophate destroying humans and climate change posing an actual threat?
The first one is very real.
And I could go on.
There is a positive twist to this story. Politicians and public opinion are slowly but surely tilting towards being open to the negative consequences of putting 8.6 billion kilograms of pesticides on our soil and water. That’s 280 million pounds yearly in the U.S.
Science is still divided if it causes any harm to animals and us.
After fifty + years of spraying, the chance of having non-degradable particles in your lungs, gut or blood caused by Round-Up is 75% in the US and 40% in the E.U.
Do I have your attention?
And yet, the E.U. is voting on another ten years of licence to kill weeds for Bayern. And there is hope. There was no sufficient majority (requiring 15 out of 27 member states and representing at least 65% of the total EU population). When there’s no majority in another round of voting, the committee itself will decide before the 15th of December.
What’s happening?
Did the Monsanto Lobby forget some suitcases with cash, or are increasing knowledge and maybe science slowly tilting against allowing the further poisoning of topsoil, water, and us?
Let’s stay on the positive side for this one. I feel change is coming. For this reason, I won’t do my regular Elite bashing and conspiracy-tripping.
Let’s stay open and look at the facts as much as possible.
Maybe in this one, wisdom will prevail over money, and it’s finally time to end Monsanto’s Licence to kill and clean up Round-Up even when it seems a little too late.
Brief history
After 1960, the oil processing industry, led by the Rockefellers, realized that by-products of their oil would bring in even more money. These were pesticides. (And modern medicines, but more on that in other posts).
To make the public buy-in, a story needed to be told to the world. A narrative. This became the war on invisible things. Bacteria, fungi, worms, viruses, pests and weeds.
The War on Germs was birthed.
This story was given the necessary momentum and fuel with a crisis scenario. The Club of Rome had presented that the population would increase so much that not all mouths could be fed. The Malthusian model myth. ( why would they even care?)
As with all created crises, they needed to ‘act now, before it was too late’, and ‘new technologies’ would save us. Sounds familiar?
Agriculture needed to scale up and intensify. Media spread the story that the only way was mass production on less and less land with the help of the technology available at the time. This meant spraying chemical fertilizers to produce higher yields, toxic pesticides, and controlled irrigation .
A.K.A The Green Revolution.
Local regenerative models have never been given a chance. There’s simply no money in keeping agriculture decentralized. The globalization of food production and supply chains became a fact. Sure, there have been some short-term gains, but we’re just starting to see the long-term devastating effects.
The large companies behind this story had long figured out the long-term profit model. Putting a blind eye to the harm. Blinded by big profits and hurried by created panic, long-term consequences weren’t even examined.
The Monsanto of that time was hailed as heroes. Science came up with ‘facts’ about how many millions of lives had been saved by Round-Up. Norman Borlaug, the “Father of the Green Revolution”, received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1970. Does it ring another bell? Nobel prizes have just been awarded to the inventors of MrNA Bio-Tech.
It was not stated then that these studies came from universities paid directly by the Rockefeller and Ford Foundation, which in turn had an interest in this whole story, etc. It also needed to be more transparent that the so-called regulators were paid from the same source. The people who have to monitor health get their income from the same people who sell the poison.
Quite handy.
The interesting question remains if something is shifting at the moment. Are we at the end of a curve? Is something radically changing, or are these more information smoke screens to keep on extracting wealth while destroying the planet and us?
Dismantling the myth
I like to believe something in the undercurrent of humanity is shifting.
We are finding out more and more. ‘We’ are authorities like Zach Busch, doctors and researchers who are willing to look behind the story. That dismantles the myth. They discovered that from ‘The Green Revolution’ onwards, there has been a massive increase in autism, Parkinson’s, and many different auto-immune diseases. Not to mention cancer.
Are we only at the beginning of this paradigm shift?
Having been so heavily used, this herbicide is now found in the soil, water, air, and even in humans worldwide. — National Library of Medicine
The opponents will argue that certain cancers and increases in Parkinson's cannot be attributed one-to-one to round up. Just as excess mortality can never be attributed one-to-one to the jabs. Still, the spikes are too striking, the relationship too obvious. It can no longer be based on chance. (beyond a reasonable doubt)
…it is possible that due to extensive use on a large scale they (concentrations of glyphosate residues) may accumulate and become a risk to animal and human health…residues were found in the urine of 60–80% of the general population in the United States — National Library of Medicine
Did Round-up poison the earth beyond clean-up ?
Recently released data as above (2022) has revealed that our groundwater, water from the air (rain) and a large part of the topsoil are poisoned with glyphosate residues, carcinogenic to humans. Stuff that can no longer be degraded.
The bottom line is that we have poisoned the earth forever.
Read that again.
I’m not a doom thinker, but there should be much more attention to this than the regular climate change frenzy of how a cow farting contributes to, oh dear, shame on you, climate change. What nonsense.
What matters is that anti-human corporations like Monsanto have many times more millions of money to lobby for their products, and the alternatives never stood a chance.
What is changing? Is it Ze Science ?
What does the science say about pesticides?
“If everyone takes a hit from environmental pollutants, society as a whole suffers.” — Avshalom Caspi, Professor at Duke
The leading scientific institutes are in a morbid battle.
In short, 8 (eight !!) years ago, the WHO classified glyphosate as probably (yeah, that’s pretty scientific) carcinogenic to humans. They followed a report from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).
On the other side of the Ocean, where 3/4th of U.S. citizens are apparently already poisoned with the stuff, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the U.N are not yet convinced.
?
We need to break this further down. In 2019, Scientific American published this piece warning the public that;
…researchers have found that one of Roundup’s inert ingredients can kill human cells, particularly embryonic, placental and umbilical cord cells—Scientific American
The new discovery concentrated on earlier classified safe inert substances (The Inerts), that now proved to be amplifying the toxic effect on human cells, even at concentrations much more diluted than those used on farms and lawns. They found out it wasn’t the lower concentrations that did the harm, but the constant poisoning for decades that did the lethal built-up.
Remember that from the 8.6 billion kg of glyphosate applied globally since 1974 (Benbrook 2016), 1.6 billion kilograms have been applied in the US alone. Would that explain the 75% being poisoned versus 40% in Europe.
Do I feel a perverse economic incentive to keep licensing Monsanto to kill the planet?
At least in the U.S.? Sure. O, and the E.U is following the U.N stance. Even when the IARC finds a reasonable doubt, (remember: 2015!) that glysophate ( more correctly: the Inerts) could be propelling a lot of cancer cases, eight years later, the regulators are still divided.
Well done, humanity!
In other words, it has reached sociopathic levels because it now involves all of our lives and, more importantly, Mother Earth. It is no longer about profit interests for a small group that will never stop.
Until we stop them.
There is another problem.
Picture this.
The poison that kills weed does such a great job that the veggies you once intended to protect can’t grow anymore. Next step you modify these crops to become resistant to your poison and you patent them so you can only sell them, and keep profiting billions on both products since they are now indispensable.
This makes modern agricultural products medicine to survive self induced chemotherapy.
Make no mistake about it: this is Monsanto’s primary profit model.
This Round Up story is a beautiful and sad example of human failure through perverse business incentives, the corruption of money, and the total lack of ethical and moral awareness that marks the end times of our global ‘civilization’.
Suppose that population growth was a problem and Round-Up was part of the solution. The long-term consequences were not even considered when Round-Up was launched, only short-term gains. (Like with the Jab, by the way)
This also happened with lead in gasoline, which cost millions of lives worldwide and was only removed after 60 years. About 68 million young children in the U.S. had toxic exposure to lead from gasoline from 1927 to 1987. These are the so-called second and third-order effects that multinationals ignore.
We pay the price.
Or is there a turnaround? Are we reaching a point where everyone agrees that the round-up is ready for a round-up, closing down?
I have a better solution.
The solution is not to wait for E.U. Councils to vote, Divided regulators and other ‘ 3-letter bodies that don’t have your best interest at heart.
They look solemn and responsible, and have serious faces when they mention ‘Public Health ‘ and ‘Safety’. Sorry, sponsored puppets, we don’t need you any longer.
The solution is simple and has been executed for years in awake healthy circles.
START GROWING YOUR FOOD
Locally.
I’ve been doing this for two years in Ibiza, which opened my eyes.
With non-modified seeds and grains. And when you can’t, buy local at farms or eco-centres that you are sure they don’t spray. Work there as a volunteer and find out.
Create the new earth you love to see by taking action from the ground up, and in this way, you make the old world obsolete.
Still, the puppets must wake up, too, since Round-Up spreads globally in soil, rivers, and rain. For this one, it involves us all.
There is, of course, still a battle needed on the ground. I forgot to mention that Monsanto faces eleven thousand lawsuits from cancer patients who believe they can directly connect their illness to the world wide spread of Round-up.
After a winning streak of nine cases for Bayern, last week John Durnell won a 1,25 million case against the Round-Up Producer. Lawyer Blair said the trial was the first in which jurors heard evidence that other chemicals in Roundup besides its main ingredient, glyphosate, could cause cancer.
This is the inert products harm claim mentioned above. When this is a precedent case, just when the E.U is about to vote again, and it’s now won, humanity might be up for a change.
The final vote is December 14th 2023.
Let’s trust humanity's wisdom over profit this time.
If not. We’re seriously f*cked.
Namaste
