Why did this Man Kill Himself and His Family After Trump's Victory?
Five reasons addressing the collective psychosis we're in and what to do about it
This man killed himself, his partner and ex and two children after Trump’s win.Â
TikTok exploded with people crying, fuming, yelling and losing it.Â
In their on the ground reality, nothing has changed, and probably will change the next months.
And still.
It shows how fucked up we’ve become as humanity.Â
And you know what? Let’s stop the blame-and-shame game. It’s not solving anything. We need to start looking over the big social divide.Â
This story alone is sad enough. It needs to stop.Â
What causes all of this massive polarization, yet with grave consequences? How can we reach the person on the other side of the illusionary in-group digital fence?
Five solid reasons explain why people are pushed into this unhealthy tribalism and hatred.
When we know why, we know where to find the solution to the problem.
1. Digital Anxiety
Not many people talk about Digital Anxiety.Â
Thanks to the Internet, the world has become our village. Apart from its most significant achievement, empty reels going viral, this mainly includes showing us tragic disasters, wars, porn, unnecessary violence and other shit.Â
To keep shareholders happy and us hooked with dopamine hijacks, Zuckerberg and friends cleverly feed us toxic, traumatic and shocking content on purpose.Â
This creates our worldview. An echo chamber of extremities confirming what we believe is the world. When you think all white men are racists, you get one hour of feeds showing white cops killing black people.Â
This is way too much for our systems to take in. It creates digital anxiety.Â
We get overloaded with never-ending images and garbage, wich eats our attention and decreases our information immunity.Â
Our primal reaction to anything threatening that false worldview has turned into violence and hatred, or any other extreme reaction.Â
Digital Anxiety has turned somebody with simply another opinion into an existential threat.
See the results around you.Â
2. The Collective psychosisÂ
Matthias Desmet explained the concept of free-floating anxiety. A negative psychological result of our mechanical tech society is that people feel isolated amidst existential crises.Â
People feel safe when they can point this free-floating anxiety to a real threat. They experience (fake) safety of being in the moral right ingroup. They finally find meaning in their lives and share this simultaneously with all other members of the in-group. Now, they’ve found a purpose to live. This then becomes almost as powerful as religion.
When you take this purpose away, dreadful things can happen, as we saw after election day.Â
Meanwhile, mainstream media will point them to the next threat, and social media is the town hall where they can meet fellow believers.Â
During Cojonas the threat was anti-vaxxers.
During the Ukraine—Russia conflict, the threat was Putin and every Russian alive on this planet.Â
During the ‘24 Election and 8 years before, the threat was Trump and anyone wearing a red hat with MAGA.Â
See the pattern?
It’s all an illusion resulting from influential people misusing collective psychology for their own benefit of dividing us.Â
Thank you, George Soros and friends.Â
3. Propaganda and changing narratives by MSM
The relentless fearmongering by MSM causes people to lose their ability to think for themselves, criticize authority, and be independent.Â
Any new ‘enemy’ can be injected by the MSM into this in-group.Â
It’s called propaganda.Â
The millions will parrot the slogan to demonize the dangerous out-group villain. The more they spill their hate, the more status they will gain, and the more ‘safe’ they think they are.Â
MSM more than quickly switches the narrative from one story to the next when belief in the old narrative dries up or when they get new instructions from their overlords.Â
After Trump's victory, Zelensky is suddenly begging for peace, the Putin enemy narrative is drying up, and the new one is Iran.Â
Did you notice ? The enemy doesn’t matter.Â
These groups have become a mind-controlled weapon to attack the out-group, and they don’t even know it.Â
Why People’s Minds, Made Into Weapons, are More Dangerous than Nukes
It’s time to hold MSM accountable and stop this insanity. This happens when we no longer buy into their propaganda and stop watching them completely.
4. The childish tantrum
Since millions have lost access to adult, responsible thinking and behaving, they’ve become childlike.
They degenerated into a child mind state, where you don't need to hold any responsibility or accountability for what you say or do.Â
You might think I’m joking, but look at how people react to Trump’s victory.
Many having their TikTok Tantrum. One man killed himself, his wife, ex and two children over a hyper object, over something that doesn’t exist at all in his day-to-day life.
That’s beyond sad.Â
A big part of our society is back in kindergarten.
The righteous ingroup screams for the teacher (the authority) to remove those awful kids on the other side of the fence, those that are so different. When the authorities can’t, they feel abandoned, and returning to this isolation might be too much to bear.Â
They’re all fearful, small children acting completely from victimhood. They’re easy to control and manipulate.
They lost all dignity and self-reflection.
5. Cognative dissonance and totalitarianism, huh ?
When you’re in one of those in-groups I described, you have probably stopped reading. It’s too far-fetched, it's a conspiracy, I’m a racist Etc. Here we go again.
This is called the cognitive dissonance.Â
It has become too dangerous psychologically for you to accept anything outside of the echo chamber, outside of the box of the created reality. The dominant narrative.Â
It would mean you would have to start thinking independently again.
The effect of collective psychosis has been used in history in Totalitarian regimes. You spread fear, you intimidate, and now everybody adheres to your values and mafia practices. Those are not the highest values around. They’re pretty sociopathic and are about power and influence.Â
We’re kind of in a global totalitarianism led by a sociopathic cult. Sorry to waste the fun.
Explaining our Societal Melt-Down Through the Eyes of Our Sociopath Rulers
They’ve successfully pitted us against each other. They keep feeding us binary narratives and forcing us to choose an in-group.Â
Divide and conquer. Remember?
The solution
One of the solutions is stepping out of these dynamics altogether.Â
What if we stopped believing them, those shouting headlines stealing our attention and dividing us?
What if we choose peace? In ourselves first?
What when we stopped looking at our screens every second to feed the anxiety? And instead, start a real conversation with an actual human outside our save in-group?
You will soon notice this is just another human being.Â
A person with children like you might have.Â
A person that needs to shit on a toiled just like you do.Â
A person who wants peace over war deep in their heart, just like you
A person who is longing for connection, just like you
A person who has never done anything wrong to you
A person who might have good intentions, just like you
A person who is fighting for something they deem right, just like you
The only answer to transcend and grow out of our collective psychosis is waking out of it and hugging and embracing the enemy on the other side of the created fence.Â
This fence is an illusion. It was never there. Enemies are created.Â
The human, on the other side, is real.Â
They’re your brothers and sisters. Start treating them accordingly.Â
