The Way Out of Our Poisoned Information Ecology
Why we need to go back to the root of communication
Our future new earth leaders will base their decisions on one simple question: What would Love and Spirit want?
No more greedy, wounded, war-driven ego’s in the way.
And no, it's not all new-age hippy happy talk.
This is what Indian leaders practiced. The answers always benefited the tribe, the clan, the earth, the rivers, and the universe.
The whole.
Then the U.S was founded. A new culture of imperialism, economic growth, new weapons, technological advancement, greed and power games invaded the once sacred grounds.
The U.S founding fathers were wise men. They envisioned that lack of education in future society would lead to the fall of what we called democracies.
We’re right in it. It’s all around us. Our Tik-Tok youth is not going to save the planet. Yet.
This is how we can turn the tide.
The loss of synthesis
Pirate ships had a more democratic set up than most of our current democracies—blog.Motherland.earth
Our democracies were already a compromise in the eyes of Native tribes around the world. We, humans, have the ability to come to a consensus, use the collective wisdom of circles, and engage in something that’s called synthesis.
It’s when we argue, talk, and learn from each other to such an extent, that from that sense-making, wise decisions rise up that benefit the whole, the society, and the planet.
This used to happen in early town halls. Everybody went home satisfied with the outcome since everybody was still open to learning from the information provided by others. Together, all that information shared created the synthesis.
This worked since everything was still local. A good outcome of discourse would benefit the village, the small town. No need to be at war with anything. No wounded sociopath playing a divide and conquer. And very important: Information in itself wasn’t used as a weapon. To mislead, to lie, to create fake realities.
Our present-day info war has many reasons, may it be merciless cold competition, manipulative marketing, or just plain predatory capitalism.
And something philosophers call the multi-polar trap.
With the growth of capitalism, our local societies got split. Not even to mention the humongous globalization that followed that seems to be the root of all shit we’re experiencing today.
The Multi-Polar Trap
This is the multipolar trap: When I won’t cut that tree to sell and feed my family, my neighbour will. So I have no choice but to cut that tree, even when I don’t want to.
With information it works like this: When I tell the truth, I might lose my job, and my neighbour will take it, so I need to lie. Even when my higher self tells me not to.
We’ve come to a place where everybody thinks they have to do this. And are doing it.
Scientists, doctors, nurses, and many others are lost in this multipolar trap and are afraid to tell the truth about what went down in all those hospitals and care homes during Covid.
Lying has become the dominant culture. To simply save your ass and your money. But that’s the same in our present societies.
Fast forward to the 21st Century.
Let’s go back to sense-making in the 21st Century.
Tech changed our brains. Social Media hijacked our attention. Millions simply lack the skills to stay focused and present. To argue well, to steal man, to stay open to different opinions, and to experience the magic of Synthesis.
A.I driven Information warfare and the war on sense-making have led to people checking out and zoning in on Metaversed chemical happiness. Something Huxley already described in Brave New World, at the beginning of the fifties.
We’re slowly being turned into ‘useless serfs’ while tech takes over our lives. And us. Our billionaire leaders present this as an unavoidable great future, but it's the opposite.
It’s degrading what it means to be human and robs us from our dignity.
Working towards solutions
Still, bright minds try to turn the tide, like Daniel Schmachtenberger, giving very useful tips to engage back again in good faith communication, to learn to make sense again. From good sense-making comes good collective decision making.
I do see this happening in the near future in small local groups, circles and communities, where we will have to re-invent the sense-making tool again. Ground up, in protected spaces. I am practising this myself in small groups.
It will only work when we no longer believe we are in constant competition with everybody else in our local community. When we leave the lack paradigm.
Then we’ll discover a miracle.
When we come together and practice good faith communication, a third entity will guide us, this is collective intelligence. It’s similar to natural higher intelligent processes and has to do with the human tech, our hearts, minds, energy and souls.
It doesn’t work that well online, it’s weaker.
When you bring your open heart and an open mind to the present Social Media landscape, our presumed dictated place to meet, much too often the mind police will come and correct you, or your voice will be swept away by the 5 minutes of hate outrage by zombie minds that are currently terrorizing the collective information ecology.
Still, there are many places where you can dream away, about truth rising up again, and everything transforming into an open-minded, open-source, open-hearted place.
The coming systemic change will revolutionize our communication and clean up the poisoned info ecology. The above is one humble way to get there.
Parallel societies will do the job for now
While huge groups are turning away from the imposed technocratic totalitarian nightmare, they’re simultaneously experimenting and creating new frameworks to base new societies.
Far away from the corrupted claws of authority and collective hate speech.
It has to do with real human sovereignty, personal leadership and collective effort. With listening to nature again. It comes with taking full responsibility for our lives and the planet, going beyond the story of separation.
Parallel society is in the making, underground.
Start practising this yourself with some trusted buddies in the real when you feel it. It’s magic. You will become part of a new silent decentralized movement that will continue to work in the trenches until we reach a tilting point.
It’s still very fragile. We need to find a way to scale. Don’t lose yourself or get hijacked by all those hyper objects out there.
In fact, maybe we won’t need to scale this yet. We stay local, grounded on the specific piece of earth we live on. And at the borders, we exchange our knowledge, wisdom, and love, freely, without the need to mislead, lie and hurt.
This is happening already in small groups everywhere. In Tipi’s far away from the buzz of the never-ending lies. People dedicate their lives to building up new structures, ground up, in tune with nature, using its wisdom and intelligence. And that have learned to simplify their lives.
And we’ll come round circle.
Like-minded peers will always find each other, even when it's through the smoke signals rising up from the fires that are burning their iPhones.
